finken family reunion: day two

on friday morning, every headed to assiniboine park. the weather was hot & sunny and all the kiddos had a blast playing in the water and the sand. everyone brought a picnic lunch so we got to stay for awhile and enjoy the sunshine & eachother.

ollie & lilia, both hard at play. (don't they both have the most gorgeous eyelashes? beautiful babies.)

ollie hated the winnie the pooh statue.
after the park, ollie & i went back to the moores and took a long nap. then we all headed to the church for a dinner and birthday celebration for oma. it was so neat to see each and every one of her posterity there, along with many friends and family, to celebrate her 80th birthday with her! what a special occasion!

ollie & tadeo love eachother so much!

i love these next two photos of oma. all of her great grandchildren were standing in front of her and singing "happy birthday" to her. don't you love the way she is looking at them? oma loves her babies, and she makes sure they all know it, too.

what would a finken family party be with hazelnut torte? yum.
brian gave ollie a ride through the balloons. he looks like he's crying but he's actually laughing uncontrollably!
sweet little chatting tommy. he's such a charmer.

ollie tickling amber!
and we finished off the second day of the reunion with a family dance!
